Stella Jean Vojtush, 85, of Ray Township, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born March 15, 1937 in Detroit, the daughter of Edward and Angeline (Blair) Page.
She graduated from Pershing High School in 1955. She married her beloved husband Edward Vojtush Sr., on March 2, 1957 (we celebrated their 66 years of marriage a month early), Stella was a wonderful wife and mom who was a lifetime caregiver to her family raising 4 boys and a girl. She loved to laugh and had a beautiful smile. Stella enjoyed watching her bird feeders. She especially loved the cardinals as they reminded her of her family members who have passed away.
She is survived by her beloved husband Edward Sr., loving children, Edward Vojtush Jr., Joseph Vojtush, Michael Vojtush, Gerald Vojtush and Judith (George) Haynes; beloved grandchildren, Vanessa Vojtush, Trevor (Tori) Schick, Jacob Schick, Melissa (Dan) Snyder, Brian Haynes, Sara Haynes and Joe Haynes; great-grandchildren, Kiera, Brianna, Leah, Landon, Elliana, Arriana, Triston, Malia and Brody Schick; siblings, Angie (Robert) Crabb and Edward Page.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jeffrey, and siblings, Rose Marie (Don) Fomish, Catherine (Ray) Godlewski and Laura (Ace) Krus.
Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16 at Muir Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Romeo.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 17, 2023 at the funeral home with the Rev. Christopher Talbot, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be made at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
