Lola Ann (Foss) Miller, 87, of Kearney, Neb., died Monday, Dec. 19, 2022. She was born on March 29, 1935, in Richmond, the daughter of Ruth (Schwark) and Harry Ludwig Foss. She married Eugene E. Miller in August of 1964.
Lola was a resident of Michigan for over 80 years. She moved to Romeo in 1972 where she lived with her husband, Eugene, for 46 years.
Lola took great pride in her family. She was a loving and thoughtful wife, mother and grandmother. Lola placed tremendous value on time spent with not only her children and grandchildren, but also with her siblings, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her dedication to family, Lola loved her home and garden in Romeo, was a gifted homemaker and a great cook. She also loved to read and to travel. She worked at her sister Ellyn and brother-in-law Ned Youatt’s business, Donahue Drugs in Romeo, for many years, where she enjoyed interacting with the local community. Lola was strong in her faith and found great comfort in her church community at St. John Lutheran Church of Romeo.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristen (George) Paleudis, of Hawaii and Holly (Troy) Forrest and their sons, Hayden and Kellen, of Nebraska; son, Stephen (Carrie) Miller, of Virginia; sister, Ellyn Youatt; and twin brothers Charles and William Foss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; her brother, Robert Foss; and sister, Marilyn Killewald.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 25 at St. John Lutheran church in Romeo.
