John Anthony Shimko, 86, of Washington Township, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022. He was born Nov. 26, 1935.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty” for 65 incredible years. Dearest father of Margie Lang and Gail (Steve) Mosher. Proud grandfather of Jeremy (Misty) Rolfs. Dear brother of Ken (Phyllis) Shimko.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 24 and 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 25 until the time of service, 11 a.m., at Wujek-Calcaterra and Sons, Inc., 54880 VanDyke, Shelby Township (at 25 Mile Road).
Interment is at Christian Memorial Gardens West.
