SERVICE RECOGNIZED March 2, 2022 Longtime WBRW-TV advocate Pete Coutsos was recognized by the Michigan Community Media Board of Directors with a going away party at the station’s Wicker Street studio Tuesday, Feb. 22. Coutsos ended his 30-year affiliation with the station where he also served as the Washington Township representative to the former Tri-Community Commission in 2008. Beginning in 2015, he served as president of Michigan Community Media, the successor organization to the commission. Coutsos was a teacher at Warren Woods High School until retirement in 2004.
