The Record has placed two brand-new newspaper vending boxes in the area for our reader’s convenience.
One box has been added in front of The Romeo Café, 125 S. Main Street, Romeo, and another has been placed in front of Romeo Family Restaurant , 66020 Van Dyke, Washington Township.
The cost of the newspaper at the newsstand is $1 and the boxes accept only quarters.
Several area merchants have agreed to sell copies of The Record newspaper.
Since The Record began publishing in December, it has consistently added paid subscribers, advertisers and newspaper venders.
“We’re proving that newspapers continue to be a very viable business in the Internet age,” said Record Publisher Lawrence Sobczak. “People want and respond well to a newspaper they can hold in their hands.”
Look for more vending boxes in the future.
