PLEIN AIR PAINTERS

Members of the Romeo Art Guild visited Van Houtte Farms in Armada Township Friday to paint and sketch the blooming fields. “En plein air” is the term in French meaning the act of painting outdoors. The farm on Romeo Plank Road offers cuttings of the flowers for sale at either their stand or by u-pick. (Photos by Stacy Sobotka)

Above, Vianna Szabo uses pastels to create a landscape of the flower fields at VanHoutte Farms.
