CLASSIC CORNFIELD

The corn is growing so fast in this field located along Fisher Road in Bruce Township that the house in the distance soon won’t be visible. The hot and humid temperatures we experienced the past few weeks are ideal growing conditions. The only drawback so far this summer is that the National Weather Service recently reported moderate drought conditions. (Photo by Larry Sobczak)
