HAY HARVEST

These bundles of straw began showing up in farm fields in Bruce Township a couple weeks early as farmers work on their first cuttings of the season. Although there were some cold snaps this spring, it has been relatively mild and snow-free which allowed for hay and grains to get an early start. (Photos by Larry Sobczak)
