A long line of cars filled with area residents waits on South Main Street in Romeo on Thursday to receive donated food. Volunteers from Forgotten Harvest were distributing from trucks at the St. Clement of Rome parking lot. The pandemic has been blamed for record unemployment and, as of last week, few residents and businesses have received relief payments including unemployment benefits promised by Congress on March 29.
