Voters approve $86 million school bond

Voters went to the polls May 3 to decide whether Romeo Community Schools should borrow $86 million to pay for building improvements throughout the district including an expansion of the Romeo Engineering and Technology Center into a full high school.

The unofficial results with 100 percent of the precincts reporting:

YES 4,131 62.0%
NO 2,535 38.0%
