Linda Sue Verellen, 73, of Romeo, died Jan. 30, 2016 at Troy Beaumont Hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1942, the daughter of Russell and Lola (Balden) Arnold in Romeo.
Mrs. Verellen graduated from Romeo High School in 1961 and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in teach. She taught at L’Adventure in Romeo. She was the Washington Township treasurer from 1987 to her death.
She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Jay) Verellen Efting of Washington Township., Rebecca Verellen Rivard and Rachel (Derek) Verellen Wandrie of Romeo; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Lou Teller Witzke in 2001 and niece Jaime Couture.
Visitation: 4-8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 31 and 1-8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1 at Roth-Muir Funeral Home, Romeo.
Funeral: 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, Romeo with Father Stephen C. Reckker officiating.
Burial: Romeo Cemetery.
