Regular Meeting was opened at 7:00 p.m. Roll call and Pledge of Allegiance was recited. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approval of Agenda with the addition of item e under New Business. Motion carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Approval of Minutes from February 24, 2025 – Motion carried. March 25, 2024 – motion carried. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL BILLS: Approval in the amount of $43,738.43 and $101,459.82 – Motion carried. SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Presentation on PILOP given by DDA Chair, Andrea St. Laurent. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Comments were heard by residents and concerned parties regarding the implementation of paid parking on Main St. OFFICER REPORTS: President – Report given; Clerk – No report given. Clerk was away at Professional Development Conference; Treasurer – President Poznanski gave the Treasurer’s Report; Trustees – Reports given by Trustees Bartholomew and Kare; Planning Commission Ex-Officio – Report given. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Bruce Sewer – Bruce Twp. request for additional sewer capacity has increased from the original requested amount; Ethics Committee – President Poznanski reported on the Ethics Committee. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: No unfinished business was discussed. NEW BUSINESS: Budget Meeting Dates – Discussion on the upcoming Budget Meeting dates of April 15, 2025 and April 22, 2025 was had. Trustee Kare reported that they would not be able to attend the April 15, 2025 meeting. Trustee Parker reported that he could not commit to attending either date at this time; Budget Amendments – Motion carried to amend the Waste Water Treatment Plant’s capital outlay; Council Rules of Procedure Amendment – A DDA monthly report will be added to Council Meetings; WWTP Sprinkler Head Replacement – Motion carried to approve the presented quote; Planning Commission Appointment – Mr. Steve Mellen was appointed the Village of Romeo’s Planning Commission; PILOP Fee – Motion carried to reduce PILOP fee from $10,500 to $100. ADJOURNMENT: Meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
