Regular Meeting was opened at 7:00 p.m. Roll call and Pledge of Allegiance was recited. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approval of agenda with the addition of items 12, 13, and 14. motion carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Approval of minutes from January 27, 2025 – motion carried. March 25, 2024 – motion carried. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL BILLS: Approval in the amount of $752,397.05 and $103,039.92 – motion carried. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS: DDA gave update on Paid Parking. CORRESPONDENCES: Correspondence read during President’s report. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Comments were heard by residents Danielle Lee and Zach Fowler. OFFICER REPORTS President – report given; Clerk – report given; Treasurer – no report given; Trustees- reports given by Trustees Rosso and Fowler; Planning Commission Ex-Officio – no report given. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Bruce Sewer – Committee has still yet to meet with Bruce Twp. Bruce Twp. has reached out but no meeting has been set to date; Ethics Committee – the committee did not meet. Meeting date will be held at a future date. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: AT&T Settlement Agreement – motion carried to pay a settlement amount; Tree Board Ordinance – motion carried to add an additional 2 seats. NEW BUSINESS: Planning Commission Bylaws – discussion was had; Budget Amendments – motion carried to amend the water, sewer, and motor pool budgets; 2024 Road Project Amendment – motion carried to approve the 2024 Road Project Amendment as presented. PUBLIC COMMENTS: No comments were heard. CLOSED SESSION – Motion to enter into Closed Session at 8:28 p.m. – motion carried; Motion to end Closed Session at 9:17 p.m. – motion carried; Motion to enter into Open Session at 9:18 p.m. – motion carried. Adjournment – Meeting adjourned at 9:18 p.m.
