At 7pm, on Monday, January 27th, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., the Village of Romeo, MI Board of Trustees will held a public hearing at the Meeting Room located at 361 Morton Street, Romeo, MI 48065, to discuss the disbursement of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. It was reported that there was total of $9,770.00 in requested CDBG funds from organizations in the Romeo community. Romeo was granted $2,500 in CDBG funds for the FY 2025 from the Macomb “Urban County” Program.
During the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees, a motion was made by Trustee Parker, with support by Trustee Kare, to allocate CDBG funds to the following organizations for the following amounts:
CHORE – $500.00
MCREST – $650.00
Samaritan House – $700.00
Care House – $350.00
Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers – $100.00
Turning Point – $200.00
