She enjoyed her work at Michigan Bell (AT&T) for many years. She and her late husband, Steve, had a large vegetable garden at their home in Farmington Hills and she spent many hours in the kitchen preserving all their produce for the family to enjoy.
Surviving are their three children, Dwight (Cindy), Larry (Hannah) and Karen (Jim) Borgert; five grandchildren, Laura (Justin), Lena (Sre), Nate (Katy), Jamie (Ryan), and Kyle (Nikki). She was a proud great-grandmother to Jack, Max, Myra, Vinay, Lily, Seven, Carter and Camille.
