PUBLIC NOTICE – VILLAGE OF ARMADA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

At 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025, at the Village of Armada Municipal Office, 74274 Burk Street, Armada, MI 48005, a public hearing will be held to obtain the views of citizens concerning community development and housing needs, as required by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.

The Village of Armada will be applying for approximately $1,850.00 dollars in Community Development Block Grant funds for FY2025 from the Macomb “Urban County” Program. Federal guidelines require that maximum priority be given to activities, which primarily benefit low or moderate-income families or which aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight.

Citizens residing in blighted areas or lower-income persons are encouraged to participate. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 72-hour notice.
