PUBLIC NOTICE – VILLAGE OF ARMADA SYNOPSIS OF UNOFFICIAL MINUTES FOR RCM 11/11/24

Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Clark, Boelke, Coenen, Barzyk, Adair, Shall, Stirrett. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Jeff Bahorski, Kevin Grand, and Stacy Sobotka.

COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as amended, added Special Event Permit – Armada Agricultural Society- Lighted Christmas Parade – Date Correction as New Business Item A. Heard and/or received the Treasurer’s Report, the Code Enforcement Report, the Police Action Report for October, 2024; verbal reports from Planning Commission Liaison Shall and Water Commissioner Boelke. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 10/28/24 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $372,170.46 as presented; to approve the Special Event Permit Application from the Armada Lions Club for the Goodfellow Paper Four Corner Fundraiser on December 6 through 8, 2024 between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Christmas Tree Set-Up on November 30, 2024, between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm; Santa Day on December 21, 2024, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm; and Holly Days on December 7, 2024, between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm; to close the Village office on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 . Unanimously Approved: to correct the motion made at the last Regular Council Meeting to approve the application from the Armada Agricultural Society changing the date for a Special Event Permit from December 3, 2024 to December 7, 2024, for the Lighted Christmas Parade. Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting 7:15 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
