Joseph N. Gwisdalla, 81, of Romeo, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024. He was born in Harbor Beach on March 21, 1943.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Jane Gwisdalla (nee Zoldos). Jane and Joseph were just shy of celebrating 60 beautiful years of marriage together. Joseph is also survived by his dear siblings, Joyce (Melvin) Webb, Carol (the late Richard) Glembocki, Marie, James (Kathy), and Norman (Linda). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
He is predeceased by his parents, Cass and Mary Gwisdalla (nee Lemanski), as well as his siblings, Robert and Edward.
Joseph was a proud Army Veteran, earning himself a National Defense Service Medal during his time in the service. Joseph would go on to work for Ford Motors for many years, this is also where he met Kevin Temple and his wife, Cynthia, who quickly became like family to Joseph and Jane.
His warm presence will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Joseph was laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly on Oct. 29, surrounded by his loved ones. May he rest peacefully.
