PUBLIC NOTICE – RAY TOWNSHIP ELECTION COMMISSION MEETING NOTICE OF PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST OF VOTING EQUIPMENT

To the qualified electors of Ray Township, Macomb County, State of Michigan:

NOTICE is hereby given the Public Accuracy Test for the electronic voting equipment that will be used for the General Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 is scheduled for Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Township, 64255 Wolcott Rd, Ray, MI 48096.

The Public Accuracy Test for the electronic voting equipment that will be used for the Primary Joint Early Voting for Ray Township, Bruce Township and the Charter Township of Washington is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at the Charter Township of Washington Activity Center located at 57880 Van Dyke Road, Washington Township, MI 48094. The Joint Early Voting Site time of canvass will begin at 8:00 p.m. on November 5, 2024.

The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast at the election meets the requirements of Michigan election law.

This meeting will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the “Open Meetings Act”. All interested members of the public are invited and welcome to attend.
