PUBLIC NOTICE – VILLAGE OF ARMADA SYNOPSIS OF UNOFFICIAL MINUTES FOR RCM 9/23/24

Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Coenen, Clark, Boelke, Adair, Barzyk, and Shall. Absent: Stirrett. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Carolyn Sweeney, Matthew Beeman, Amber Voigt, Derek Voigt, Katherine Bowen, Sam Boelke, Kevin Grand, and Stacy Sobotka.

COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or received; the F & V Report for August, 2024, verbal reports from President Pro Tem Clark, Water Commissioner Boelke, and Street Administrator Barzyk. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 9/9/24 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $59,841.98 as presented; the Special Event Permit Application from the Knights of Columbus on October 11 through 15, 2024, between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm for a four-corner fundraiser. Unanimously Approved: approve the Special Event Permit Application from the Armada Area Chamber of Commerce on October 1, 2024, between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm to hold Armada-geddon events allow the closing of Main Street; to adopt the Ordinance amending Articles 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 17, 19, 22, 23, and 24 of the Village Zoning Ordinance; to approve the attached budget amendment as presented which brings the total estimated fund balance for the General Fund from $1,617,549.41 to $1,602,585.27; to approve the attached budget amendment as presented which brings the total estimated fund balance for the Salvage Ti9tle Inspection Fund from $194,900.00 to $188,920.38; to approve the resident letters and the license agreement and allow the Clerk to send as presented; Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
