Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Clark, Boelke, Coenen, Barzyk, Adair, Shall, Stirrett. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Kevin Grand, and Stacy Sobotka.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or received the Treasurer’s Report and the Code Enforcement Report for June, 2024 verbal reports from Planning Commission Liaison Shall, Water Commissioner Boelke, and Trustee Clark. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 6/24/24 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $61,315.12 as presented. Unanimously Approved: to allow the Police Chief to purchase two soft body amor bullet proof vests at a cost not to exceed $1,540.00 and to apply $648.00 of grant money to close out the current grant; to approve the attached budget amendment as presented which brings the total estimated fund balance for the General Fund from $1,619,089.41 to $1,617,549.41. Approved: to accept the proposal by WSP USA Environmental and Infrastructure, Inc. for a water supply and wellhead evaluation in the amount of $10,000.00 and allow the Water Commissioner to sign for the Village, after review by the Village Attorney. Motion made and failed: to accept the proposal by Rowe PSC for a water system capacity/demand study in the amount of $12,000.00 and to allow the Water Commissioner to sign for the Village, after review by the Village Attorney.
