The Treasurer Ray Township is currently accepting Summer 2024 Tax Deferment Applications. To apply for your Principal Residence: to qualify, total gross house – hold income cannot exceed $40,000 for the preceding tax year and the applicant must also be 1) at least 62 years of age; or 2) totally and permanently disabled, blind, paraplegic, hemiplegic or quadriplegic; or 3) eligible serviceperson, eligible veteran, or eligible widow or widower.
Those that farm Agricultural Real Property may also qualify provided the property is classified or used as agricultural real property, and that the gross receipts of the agricultural or horticultural operations in the previous year (or the average gross receipts for such operations in the previous three years) is not less than the household income for the preceding calendar year.
More information and the deferment applications can be obtained at the Township’s Treasurer’s Offices. Deferment applications must be filed prior to 9/14/2024 with your local Treasurer:
