The demolition of the John Mellen House and rezoning of 156 West Gates Street is once again up for consideration by the Bruce Township Board of Trustees. Mellen participated in surveying the Upper Peninsula, Minnesota and Wisconsin as well as the Dakota territories. He also surveyed parts of northern California, Washington and Oregon.
